About Metamorphosis Island

Metamorphosis Island was a short film project worked on from September 2021 to May 2022 as the final assignment for my course in Animation & Illustration at TUS. The assignment was specifically to develop and produce a body of work around the project for final assessment. This website is part of that assessment, and will include most of the work that went into this project. The emphasis was not necessarily on create a finished product but on the process of creating the film itself.

Work on the film began with developing a storyline in September. After this the rest of the first semester (September - December) was dedicated to creating an animatic for the film, along with designing characters and props, experimenting with visual styles and designing backgrounds. 

In the second semester I began the process of animating the whole film from Scene 1 to Scene 5, along with finishing backgrounds where needed.
